The opposite of opposite day is a regular day.
But the question was about opposite day not the opposite of opposite day.

Well, I already got it right, so the point is moot.
Here's mine, good luck:
A man was looking for a job. The only job in town was for a very rich lady. Now, this lady was very particular, everything had to be exactly as she said all of the time, or she would instantly fire you.
The lady asked the man to go to the store and buy some trees, and then plant them in 5 rows of 4 trees each. So, the man went to the store to buy the trees. However, the store only had 10 trees for sale. The man thought for a moment, bought the 10 trees, and then proceeded to go plant 5 rows of 4 trees each.
How did he do it?

I'm confused. Is he buying trees or tree seeds or tree saplings? Whole trees are awfully large to be selling in shops.

You have seven rows there to be exact.

Yes, it's very possible to do.
No, you're not right Star Worms.
Abd, I guess I should have expected someone to answer that, but it's wrong too.
And kikumbob, saplings or whole trees, however you want to think of it, but they are NOT seeds.
I'll give you a hint tonight.

He planted one row, then dug the trees up and planted another, etc..
Or there were just already 10 trees in the garden, or he stole them.
Am I even close?

Did he make it possible by special placement?

He planted the ten trees, then took cuttings of these ten and planted the other half.

Way, way off.
And Peltzi managed to give away the hint for the day .
