Oh yes, There will be blood.
Hmmm... It doesn't look heavy at all.. Looks like a normal T.V remote, only less buttons. It's different that's for sure.

I'd have to use it before I know what I think of it.

well, I was more asking for what you think of it from what you know.
we all realize that our opinions may very well change once we get to use it, but for now, it seems to look pretty cool to most of us.

Yeah, but still why a remote. Seems like a waste of time to me.. With the Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 scheduled to release soon, you would think they would spend there time & money on another platform...

Though, if there's an N64 controller shell, it'll definately weigh a lot .
Why? An n64 controller is lighter than a gamecube controller or wavebird.
What happens if you have to scratch your ass and your hand moves then something happens on screen?
Pretty screwed then aren't you?
You have the remote in your right hand and the analoug stick in the left, so you'll beable to use the left hand for any ass-scratchings.
Or get someone to do it for you.

So does that mean that only the remote has a motion sensor?

That's right, the thing that goes in the left hand is an ergonomically designed pad which has the stick and two Z buttons.

I think it has alot of potential.
The only thing that worries me is it's a remote control, so you're bound to lose it now and again.

Sparz is right, but you would like, put the controller back on its charger when your done right? otherwise it becomes deadz0r.
Like wish said, the controller looks like an NES pad when you turn it 90 degrees...

uh, they DID! they've come out with the single most revolutionary controller that's evern been designed, and it's even shaped in a way that allows it to be easily used as the pointer it was meant to be used for. if it were shaped like a normal controller, then it'd be really awkward to get to do the things you can get it to do shaped as it is. imagine a game where you use the remote to sword-fight someone with the remote-shape....it'd be easy and would feel natural, as it's shaped somewhat like a sword's hilt. now imagine doing the same thing with a normal controller. it'd be awkward because you're using both hands and controlling the sword quickly just couldn't be done nearly as effectively....it'd be like trying to wield this:

Hmmz. One problem with the Revolution controller is that, in it's shape, it's a television remote. Therefore it's easy to lose. The coolest thing about it is the swords swinging shtuff. It's like being at an arcade. I remember being at the Excalibur resort in Los Vegas. The arcade had this sword game thingy and you were given a stick thingy to swing around. Having a revolution would be alot better than the arcade. The only problem is driving games ;(.
Number two: I have something to do my project on now

Me don't thinks tha' just because it be in the shape of a TV remote like, it will make it any more or even less loseable compared to these current console controllers, lad.
Anyway, wit' the introduction o' wireless controllers with Revolution, 360 and per'aps the PS3 (although I not be too sure), things are going to be lost more of'en than wired controllers for a bleedin' obvious reason, lad.

I think those'd just stay with the traditional controller. can't imagine driving games working well with the pointer, so I doubt many will try to use it.
