Well what if it auto-matically changed the swear word? Like as soon as u post it changes fuck to f*ck. Then if you have the swear filter disabled then it changes f*ck to fuck. So in default the f*ck would appear in the qedit. And as for the posts already posted u can just use a search function and find all the posts with swears in them and change it. Tho i would back up the forum tables just in case.

Not a bad idea, but it wouldn't work.

Ok, ok, it could work, but it would be a bitch. It wouldn't work because it wouldn't be worth it.

Well, if I'm thinking this through correctly, you should only have to flip the source code around a bit, so that it would go from something like this...

That's right, Glenn. Then you have to modify the search page to conpensate for "fuck" not actually being in a post when a user might attempt to search for "i hate this fucking game". As well it would print "fucking bitch" even if the user intentionally censored his own post himself by posting "f*cking b*tch". et cetera
