the chat room dosn't seem to be working.....i've tried it a couple of times.

Seems to be working for me.

You have to have Java for the chatroom to work.

Side note: It seems the auto-image tag (when you click the link to the left of the post), won't work. I've tried it over and over, and when I hit OK or enter, it doesn't actually do anything. And before you ask, I'm using Firefox.

indeed, all I see is f*** - although the swear filter isn't that useful for me, it still seems to come up un-filtered in the edit box sometimes, and I don't have a clue why, so school comps still block it half the time.

I don't feel offended by swear words, so I haven't enabled the swear filter.

Er... it still shows up in the edit box because it's meant to. Tags still show up in the edit box, but nobody sees them, and it's because their staticly there. If it wasn't there, then of course the tag wouldn't work, and nothing would happen. It's the same for swearing. If the word wasn't there to begin with (in the edit box), then there would be no need for the code, so it wouldn't censor anything. So basically, it's a paradox. Can't have it with it, but can't have it without it either...

You know, I don't quite get what he's saying... but still, I was split as to whether or not I should filter the edit box, but I decided to in the end, in case someone should happen to be editin a post that contains swearing (although for most people that doesn't mean anything, it'll only be them that did it in the first place....)
