I am currently obsessed with animation and can do a mediocre (i have no idea how to spell that) job. I want people to tell me how to do stuff here and I want to help anyone out that i can. If you have no idea what i am talking about download animation shop pro here and start animating! we can all have a jolly time. (btw u all can tell me how i can fix my avatar here instead of whatever random thread u were doing it on b4)
An example of a question i want answered: C1- how the heck did u do that sig with the spotlight going back and forth?

also he told me how to do the spotlight animation. But i did it differently then he told me. Also i might be wrong cause i forget how to do it kinda. First get a black bg on. Then Put black text over the black bg. Then in each frame use the white paint brush and make it more over and over and over. And fianlly it will look like a flash light. If its any consilation i use Flash MX

2)how do i make it looks more like a worm riding in one of those roman chariot things with 2 wheels?
i dont know what i'll do with the completed work but there has to be somthing

true, few tips(sorry if i sound arrogant at this point)
1. If possible draw all of ur animations. When I say draw, i mean dont take a whole animation off something else and place a static worm on it.
2. Make things big.
3. Add a background to seal the theme, u dont want ppl thinking its something else when it's not.
4. Get rid of white pixels
5. Use actions instead of words if possible, images remain in ur head longer than words(fact).

i thought i'd have a mess around with flash, here's the latest version of pope's avatar:

see the thing is i am definatly not talented enough to make horse galloping. I know that what I did took no animation skill at all but I thought with more editing i could make it more my own. that avatar is really awsome ReadMe. And this flash- is it somthing i can download or do i have to buy it? o and ReadMe where did the bouncing ball go?

u can download a demo and maybe find a crack, although if u wanna buy it, u hav to dish out around £500. Very nice avatar remake ReadMe. **Applaud**

500 pounds! thats even more than 500 dollars... is it that n a program? did u buy it? animation shop pro is fine with me espesially since its free.

i have it, although i got for 3 pounds along with all my other cool, expensive programs. It's a professional tool. Play a few games on newgrounds and u will see atleast hlaf of them were made with Flash. It can animate and code and make games. So yeah, its good. Just download the demo and find a crack so u dont have to pay.

i was gonna animate the work using the sprite for when u drop a genade next to them, but i couldn't be arsed to try re-drawing those goggles, maybe another time.

I got rid of the boucing ball cos it took up too much space, now u just get some cool buttons that only work in moz, cos IE is shit and wont let me change the innerHTML of the style tag. :/

meh thats not that good. i could have done the same thing. And u didnt even ues the cool looking flash light.

it's just a mask, gimme a break - not used flash in over a year.

that's pretty funny . It reminds me of that advert ages ago with the ants saying "excuse me" to the polar bear. You probalby wouldn't remember it tho. lol.
