The only reson I am starting to not like the PS3 is because it has been delayed so many times, and now us UK people have to wait even longer, I like the Xbox 360 on the other hand, even though it sounds like a rocket!

there's no guarantee of that. gamers are boycotting the system globally, so the backing in the community isn't there and a lot of developers are having trouble with the console. the power may shift in the XBox's direction. no telling at this point.

Wait aint the PS3 like £450 for a Box which plays games, and blu ray dont realy work that well, blue ray aint even out over in the UK yet, they have only started bringing out HD dvds, I have no faith i the PS3 i will stick with the box 360, as Gears of War just pwned every other game, and Wii aint even in relation in the nower games, its just a gamecube with better game play.

The Playstation 3, yes it has been delayed many times from our graspe. Only because Sony have done things that it that will make it not only a Games Console, but also for useful home uses. For example, it will surf the internet, the proper internet not like PSP or DS internet. Music, movies, games, pictures, Bluetooth. The PS3 is a home computer, it will do everything a PC can do. Only better. Also, Blue-Ray is not out yet because there isn't a Blue-Ray player out, when the PS3 is released, Blue-Ray will start coming into effect.

Xbox 360, Gears of War may have 'pwned' every other game, but what will happen when Halo 3 is released? Also, the 360 isn't backwards compatible which makes having the majority of your old Xbox games, useless.

Wii, Gamecube with better gameplay? Give me a break. The Wii has revolutionized home entertainment. The ability to be in control of the game like that is incredible. As a bonus, the Wii has a built in Wi-Fi connection so no need to spend £60 on a Wireless Adapter for your 360.

Now we will say things which is wrong with the ps3, Price ; compare it to the xbox360.. it isnt much more higher graphicly or anything, yet its price is substantualy bigger. it has shit games. And PS3 compairing to PSP/DS.. omg there fucking hand held... and yes the xbox360 can go on the internet. and if i remember correctly u must pay more to get the blu-ray with it...

Fine im sorry if i insulted the Wii, I just have a thing with nintendo, after the DS lol, so i will take it back that they are bad, but i guess they do cost the cheapest, and they are already out of stock in all shops, so people must like them,i may like Wii's more if they brought out mor adult games instead of monkey ball, and "kids" games like that.

Hand up, who really wants to play their old games once they get a new console? I see no hands. Aside from the odd nostalgic blast into the past, no one really cares about backward compatibility.

Bobsley, if you're into the Gaming Industry as much as I am. You will admit defeat once you do the research about the PS3.

It will kick any gaming PC up the ass shouting 'Keep Up!'. I'll let you figure out why and how. I'm not arguing anymore.

Its not that PCs dont have the graphical abilities, because they do. Anything a console plays was once most likely played on a PC. Its just that there are more people into the scene of console gaming than that of the PC gaming crowd. Theres no doubting it that its a good piece of modern machinery, but the fact that it doesn't bring out anything new is what puts it down. It's utilizing the same version of gameplay as PS2 did. Theres nothing new about it, gameplay wise.

If the PS3 doesn't come with a mouse and keyboard, then it isn't as good as a PC for the majority of games.

Plus, is a PS3 upgradable? Will it become completely obsolete in a few years? No it isn't and yes it will.
But then again... PCs are expensive things to keep upgrading...

It should also be worth noting, that the PS3 gets through a lot of electricity and generates a lot of heat.

All that, plus the fact the official controllers are still crap.

that's possibly the stupidest comment I've ever seen. a computer is constantly upgradeable. everything you can get for your PS3 I can get for my computer in one way or another. I'm sure I could even play the same games on my computer if I was determined enough (you could do it with PS2 games, don't see why not with PS3 games). there is literally absolutely nothing in any way shape or form that makes the PS3 superior to a computer for any reason whatsoever, except that it's cheaper to maintain a PS3 than a computer. price aside, the only difference is that the computer is vastly more flexible.
