The Ninetndo Wii will be out in but 3 weeks! November 19th is its scheduled release in the USA and its at $279.99. I for one will get one(once the price drops down below 250-ish) for I do not have an abundant supply of cash.

There is this and the PS3 that I'm looking forward too. As for the X360.. well, I just plain hate Xbox.

I'll probably wait a little, until a killer game comes out and maybe by then the different coloured consoles will be out.

Between it's release and then, I can satiate my hunger for it at a friend's, who'll most definately be getting it.

It's a great selling point though, all that movement you can do (as you can just make small subtle hand movements whilst sitting down to play any of the games anyway) will mean children can tell their parents they'll get exercise from it.

It'll be the second console I have, if I get one. It's too much for me to drop on one after getting my 360, so I'll wait till it's really REALLY worth it.

yeah, agree with you two. Zelda is the only thing that's making MY mouth water so far. within the next few months bunches of other great games will be coming out, so it probably is better to wait.

I'm just a wii insane so I'll be camping my local best buy (who didn't do preordering) on release day. *loves working nights and therefore having the advantage*

I'm not a console person, but if I was I'd probably get a Wii for the controller and the fact that you can play old Sega and Nintendo games on it.

Downside of the Wii: no Tony Hawk's Project 8 for you. It'll surely be ported to PC though, which is what matters to me.

indeed.. if i could be bothered with consoles the wii would be in... the top 3 options. No really, would have a good chance. Spent too much time with a pc to start buying overpriced console games though.

I have played Xbox, and I dislike it. Also, the only people I know personally that own an Xbox, play it only for Halo/Halo 2, and I am not a Halo fan.

Nice generalization that a console "sucks" because of an overrated game.

Also, the people I know that play it try to get me into it, and when I refuse they call me gay... I tell them that I play PC and they say that PC sucks, what else would you want me to think?

Just about all of my friends at school play console games for the "gfx" and when I tell them that my PC has better graphics than Xbox they push me away and don't believe me. People need to realize and understand that ever game, at one point, was played on a PC..

Well, those are just the friends I see in school and I tend to stay away from them as much as possible, and hang around with the people that play PC.

I have others that go to different schools... Like Zippy for example.

will I be castrated for agreeing with him? the XBox pretty much sucks. the 360 has a few redeeming qualities, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. and either way you go, Halo is selling the systems and Halo is a sub-par shooter at best. the game is almost entirely crap compared to those of the same genre offered by the PC (Halo = crappy Battlefield game).

aside from Halo, the Xbox offers nothing of merit you can't get from a PC. PS2 had a couple crappy final fantasy games at very least. nintendo always has ass loads of original titles, so they don't count here.

nothing wrong with liking the XBox, I just don't see what there is to like, myself.
