I just got Worms:Armageddon. What a difference 1280x1024 and the speedy menus makes I never did understand that whole slow menu crap in World Party

Can you have the flamebar in W:A like that program does for WWP? Can you really read whispers with a program?

It says that on the "Programs" link on this site:
"WWPipe (Program / Utility)
You can change the flag / and your energy bar is a flame / Change ranks / Read whispers / etc. note: incoming of the word "NOOB" if seen with this "
I used the program and it does everything it describes except the whispers

You don't need a program to read whispers.
WWPipe doesn't work on W:A.

with the new patches, Silkworm wont work. WWPipe was for WWP
Why do you need to read whispers? you can see them in replays
As far as I know there are ways to get a rank in W:A but flamebars dont work. Not since, LeetF*ck failed to work as soon as the next patch after Beta2 came out.
Dunno, could still be a proggie out there that can do this lameing shizzlee
but the blue flamebar does look cool...
edit: i have no idea if that made any sense, i need sleep

You really want higher than 1024x768? Then the worms would be virtually invisible.
That all depends on your monitor's native resolution and all LCDs are atleast 1280*1024. Let's not ignore those lovely widescreen buggers either.

screen resolution: you can only set 1024x786 cuz wwp is written with an old borland c++ version which is not compatible with higher resolution. and no patch will ever change this

I'm sure it's possible to change resolution, because I remember I had a few years ago a program which allowed that. Unfortunately, I don't remember its name.

in wa, they changed the compiler, so its possible to change resolution too.
even im not sure which compiler they are using, but its c++..i ask cybershadow^^
beyond this, there is not even one update for wwp, i hate the game for that. why is team17 not programming an upadte? they want us to buy wa or what?

from the beta update changelog in 2004:
Switched to Visual C++ 7 for compiling, with Whole Program Optimization. This may make the game engine a bit faster (e.g. for faster, smoother fast-forwards in replays).
