There has GOT to be a way to modify a config file of some sort to get a higher resolution than 1024x768. 1600x1200 would be awesome. I'm sure just like the rest of you I don't care for all the mouse scrolling that comes with the lower screen resolutions.
SOMEONE has to be smart enough to have accomplished this! Which file is it that saves the configuration for the screen resolution?

You really want higher than 1024x768? Then the worms would be virtually invisible.
Anyhow, having checked out the folders and the files in them, it seems very unlikely to me that this would be possible.

I just can't stand all the scrolling with the mouse trying to see when I'm roping In games like Quake and Unreal Tournament you can edit a config file that has the screen resolution setting. I bet the file in worms you'd have to edit with a special program or something. SOMEONE has to know!

So really you want to be able to see the whole map?
I also had a look on the disc, but there's nothing there that helps. Chances are the information you want is on a WWP exclusive file type, which means you'd need the software Team17 themselves used in order to edit it. Either that or you'd have to create your own program, and my head hurts thinking about that. My only suggestion is to go here and ask your question in the WWP section, though I doubt you'll have much luck.

Hehe. Good solution. W:A is also supposed to be tonnes better than WWP, though I don't know since I don't have it. Maybe I'll get it off TradeMe or something.
Edit: Oh yeah, once you get it, don't forget to get the latest patch. You can find it here.

Yea, get W:A everyone. You too, Evil.
Harry once posted a list of the advantages of W:A here.
Leaves nothing unclear, except the advantages that are not listed there . Get W:A!

Pio, you do realize that WWP is 5 years old and has only been updated once.. so it doesnt really make it look obsolete. WWP is obsolete in and of itself.

You know what sucks? Virtually every computer game store I see has WWP, but NONE have W:A. Why did WWP have to be the newer one...

Lol. Like I said, I'll probably see if I can get it off Tradme. (WA seems cheaper there at the moment, but maybe that's cause Ebay uses a different currency).
