When you turn on your computer one of the first things you here is a sharp beep. Thats the BIOS' way of giving you feedback to how well the hardware is working. One beep will usually mean everything is fine. Other sequences tell you that something specific is wrong with the computer.
Different BIOS' have different versions of this beep code.
Helpful?

Is this going to be one of those questions which nobody gets the answer to and eventually someone just has to post a new question to stop the thread from dying?

It SHOULDNT matter. But apparently the whole internet remains undecided on wether it is one long beep or one beep repeated constantly. Mine does the latter. RunT's seems to do the other.
So to conclude, I will give MC the points because he said one long beep. However, if RunT gets here first he can have the points because I don't know how active MC is right now and he seems so damn sure that MC is correct.
Clear?

I thought I was correct until I did some research into it.
MC can have it if he wants

Thx RunT!
Here is my Queston:
You might know this situation. You are washing your cloth in a washing machine, including your socks.
But after washing you must realize that one sock has gone for good.
Were did it went?
Funny sugestions are always welcome!

I have so many 1 sock's in my drawer because of of this.
Did it get caught in the drum and eventually fall between drum and outer shell?

Well I suppose if it's a really old pair of socks it could have just crumbled to dust.

RunT is right.
They get cought between the drum and outer shell and after some time the socks are desintegrating and whats left of it will find its way into the sewage system.
So RunT, if you wan't its your question.
