I don't think you can call slapping basic text on a background you did not create art, because you're not actually creating anything. It's just too easy, since it requires zero skill and taste.
Not that i'm implying i have skill or knowledge in this matter, here's what you can do if you just chose other text and other background, Deathbot.
(and apply two basic effects)
Just get different imaging software, like Fireworks or Photoshop. Spend some time to read tutorials, and look for plugins. At least, put some effort into it and you'll be able to do something people will like.

Geez, all of you are a bunch of losers. I sucked when I joined, but I wasn't made fun of like this! Give him a chance, for god's sake. You're even worse than the people over at T17 forums. It's nice of him to offer to make images for us; it'll be good practice for him. You needn't make fun of him for being a beginner.
I would be a little more sympathetic with a normal user doing his best, except ever since I rated him down for double posting, Deathbot has been giving me shit for a while, sending me PMs and posting comments, really getting on my angry side.
And Deathbot, I don't want to start an argument here, I'm just explaining why I posted some harsh comments.

Olol. I remember, you started that RPG, then there was that RPG forum. Then there was that big debate. Then SPAZ made that "ireallyhateeskimos" account (it's on my friends list X-D)

I didn't really make it for you to use - it is an example.
You can get the Fireworks 30 day trial from www.macromedia.com . Good software expands your capabilities immensevly, so i suggest you give it a try.

Thanks, Ember, maybe now this thread will be less of a flame war.
Also check out the Photoshop demo, of course, Deathbot ( http://www.adobe.com ?), though it's a tad expensive.

But as I said, none of this would have happened if you'd explained ur reason

I'm quite happy with Fireworks 8 really, I have looked into getting either PSP or Photoshop.
Which is best?

Macromedia Fireworks has a much easier layer managment system and great for vector and pixel work alike (although MS Paint comes a close second for pixel work).
Where Fireworks fails, Photoshop rejoices; it's bitmap filters are rivalled by none. The vast array of default filters is staggering and will keep you going for a very, very long time. If only Fireworks accepted Photoshop filters.
As for paint shop pro, don't even get me started on bloody paint shop pro.

Fireworks fails if you want to print work with it. Seriously, just don't do it. The program only works in pixels, too!(unless you're creating a canvas, but that's it)

Well, I have the 30 day Photoshop trial now and learning at a very slow pace.
Possible cause I'm so used to and know how to use Fireworks.
I think I remember using PSP once before and failed so Pope, I agree 100%
