What he's saying is that half of your reasons are taken from some webpage like "525 reasons" or "whybushisdumb.com" or whatever.

If you want to know my opinion, to even ENTERTAIN the thought of wanting to be "leader" of the free world shows you've got to be somewhat crazy. The president and his staff undergo an extreme amount of pressure everyday. They're many times more likely to suffer from a heart attack in their lives than others, from the shear stress of the job. So, if Bush wanted to deal with that, then more power to him, since he'll probably drop dead in a forest or something in the future. Maybe I'll move to Japan... (notice that that's part of about every post on the presidency?).

I am for Bush all the way. For one thing, I'm republican (most of the time) and Kerry is for abortion, which I'm not, he wants to allow gay marriges, and he wants to take our guns away from us. And bush is the opposite. But of course everyone knows all of the liberals will vote for Kerry for some reason. But anyway I'm glad Bush won.

I think he means on my opinion that you've got to be crazy to want to be the President of the United States of America.

I don't see anything wrong with that. It's their life, they shouldn't have to have other peoples' opinions.

NEW WORM OLYMPICS COMING THIS JULY AND AUGUST!
You can reserve your tournament the site!
Please name the scheme of your tourney, the date for it to occur and the duration of the tourney
------------------------
I'm not even going to bother about the war.
There are pros and cons to it. Simple as that.
Fact under Bush:
The economy crashed faster than Bush' hopes of leaving a debate unscathed
Foreign relations have worsened, because didn't care about them. (face it, america... you need other countries too)
On the other hand, some things got better
Unemployment rates grew for example.
As did health care cost
And rich people had to pay a lot less taxes! (sure, that leaves less money for schools, roads, health care, but think of all the extra lunch money bill gates has now!)
Oh wait... that's not a good thing, is it?
If your reasons for voting for Bush is because you're christian and you can't stand the thought of abortion due to "thou shalt not kill"... Stop being so hypocritical.
War kills people. straight fact. Innocents die. There's no stopping that. When dictators are losing battles, they gladly sacrifice their own civilians to prove their conquerer (so to speak) is an evil nation.
75% of all pregnancies don't even reach the stage of birth. Also a straight fact! Perhaps we should call getting pregnant attempt of murder?
Children that are born from a mother that has no way of supporting them (yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a reason for abortion) end up going from one home to another up until adulthood. Some of them end up ok eventually, but most have (and cause) trouble through the rest of their lives... (children that have been adopted from other countries for example have a much higher chance of getting psychiatric problems)
Sometimes, young women get pregnant. This also happens in very religious environments. What happens when they find out? Do these women get help? most of the time... no... they get expelled. How's that for moral, huh?
It's a good thing we have a president that watches over our abortion laws, isn't it?
If you have a problem with gay marriages, please... remove yourself from this world or live on an isolated island with people agreeing with you.
Americans value democracy so much, but you won't give them a choice. Choice is the essence of democracy, my friend.
Gay marriage can't possibly do any harm to anybody, either than hurt your precious pride.
Don't give us that "being gay is a sin" crap either.
You have a president that starts wars (no matter the reason) and is an advocate of guns (more often a source of new violence than prevention of violence)
The death penalty has always been a difficult one... In principle, I'm all for death penalty. Some people just won't function normally in society.
The hard part is that sometimes you just can't be sure if you convicted the real criminal. No justice system is perfect, hence innocent people will be convicted from time to time.
Although prison time has it's lasting effects, death is somewhat irreversible
In case you can't find any more reasons to convince me that Kerry isn't the right guy for the job, I bet you will start about research on stem cells and animals, that Bush wants to see banned/restrained so badly.
Almost everything that we know in medicine as we speak has come from animal experimentations. Although I agree some experiments are unnecessary, we do need it.
Diabetes is the most common disease we know at the moment (if you don't count hypertension (25% of ppl older than 30) and obesity (varying from the country, but an even higher percentage than hypertension)).
Our most powerful medication (insuline) was found through animal experimenting.
And here comes the "but you have to destroy lives to experiment with stem cells ".
They use embryos which are not going to be used at all. What happens to these embryos? We can't keep them alive very long... We have no choice! they get destroyed!
Now let's see... We have a choice between letting those embryos go to waste or we can use them to make some progress in using stem cells to eliviate chronic diseases, delat death, diminish suffering altogether... tough choice... tough choice...
I can't really think of any other reason to have voted Kerry if I had the opportunity. But you know what? I would've done it for half these reasons if I got the chance.
What's staggering is that in all those debates, Kerry explains all that has gone wrong. Bush stumbles and stumbles and can't find any other things to say than "well! Saddam is gone! and we have 2 million new jobs!" (mind you, these are temporary jobs mostly, and how many jobs were lost under his presidency?)
He keeps babbling about how Kerry wants to raise taxes... of course he does!.
You had a costly war, health care is as expensive as it has ever been, poverty is common and apparently, education is appalling! (they still didn't know how to count in Florida)
The US is having real problems right now! You have to solve them! This costs money. Simple as that.
If somebody wants to give me something to rant about concerning bush, please tempt me

holy shit dude, I cant beileve you wrote all that, but anyway, on my opinion, FUCK BUSH AND KERRY, go nader firstly because hes a democrate(hehe) and most of the time he knows what he is talking about XD, but bush just lies all the time and complains about what kerry does/doesn't do. I wouldn't vote for ethier one of them because one is a liberal weiner, one is a conservitive(sp) asshole that wants to get back at saddam because his daddy told him so.

Very true. Ben Franklin wrote: "There is no such thing as a good war, or bad peace."
Almost everything that we know in medicine as we speak has come from animal experimentations. Although I agree some experiments are unnecessary, we do need it.
Here's something that I've been thinking about. Cell phones cause cancer in white rats. Just about everything tested on them causes cancer in white rats. Why hasn't anyone done a study to see if cancer is just hereditary in white rats?
Not really on topic, but I just had to say it.

darkone, you had too many different opinions and what-not for me to reply to everything you said. much of it is true, but half of it is just opinion or not an issue. at least you have an opinion on stuff that happens. that's much better than those who choose sides without knowing anything about either one of the choices.
