LOTR is a 12 certificate in the UK. ie you had to be 12 or over to go to a cinema to watch it. I'm pretty sure there's no rules against watching it at home tho... heh.

Yeah, and she failed. It's stated clearly in EVERY manuel that if you experience dizyness, blurred vision, pass out, or other things while playing, that you should consult a physician immediately for the chance of having epilepsy.
Something that these people should think about: a few decades ago, rock and roll was blamed for all the problems in society.

Hmm, dunno. Although PG-13 is "Parents Strongly Cautioned" for under 13. Maybe it's up to the parents? Anyway, on the video game topic, I think it's total bologna. I played Halo quite a bit on my sister's boyfriend's Xbox. Classic game, never got the urge to go pick up a pistol and shoot things. Same with Doom, Timesplitters, and basically every other "violent" game I've ever played.

Oh right, he had that game too, but didn't play it much. Total massacre. Although my parents don't allow me to buy M rated games :x Sigh, I need a way to pass 4 quick years. Ah well, video games will be totally AWESOME in four years. I'm talkin' full library SNES collections, man :)

unlucky, Games are rarely rating with an age rating over here, only GTA, State of emerancy and Manhunt have 18 ratings. I think some of the res evil games were 15's
