it works fot battle.net becuase they have x100 more poeple in a day than Wormnet has in a day

however I think perhaps just making more channels on wormnet instead of alowing poeple to host their own, would be a better idea, that way you wont be seeing "SOMEONE HOST A SHOPPER PLEEEEASE" over and over, becuase perhaps there could be a "shopper" channel.

Actually, no DJ. The only thing those private channels will do is, help people that want private games, have private games. Those that want sum1 to host a shopper, will probably still go to #Anything Goes.

but private games are just that... private, you require a password to get in.

If the channels require a password to join, then mabey I can see it happening

As long as, all the private channels aren't listed with the rest of the channels, it wouldn't need a password. And most people never use passwords. Too much of a hassle.

the channels that you create arn't shown in the channels list, you just need to know the name of the channels to beable to join.

what is this wormnet3 and how do you get on it

WN3 is a ranked server.
You get onto it by downloading an altered server list and then overwriting that file with the one already in your WA program folder.

I'm sure if you read through this thread you'd find a link and more detailed instructions.

It's not ranked yet. It's GOING to be ranked. Atm, it just has a login system.

This brings to mind an eBay moment. Someone was selling the AOL Screen Name 'Satan' on eBay and it ended up going for alot more than it's worth.

That's nothing new, there's an ingame stockmarket where players sell ingame money for MMORPGs for real cash...

When I played 'Ultima Online' I sold junk on there for real cash. Bunch of suckers. If I sold my account for that game (instead of quiting in a haste and not looking back) I could of got between 600$-1000$ US for it. It is amazing what poeple will do for a online game.... I actully had one guy send me cash in the mail before I even gave him the item I was selling. Being the good guy I am, I did not screw him over. It was amazing how much that game consumed my life... *starts day dreaming*
