Why do most ppl in other countries have 56k? Do you need to ship DSL/Cable to those places for something?

Because it's expensive to maintain a DSL/Cable network, and it's also difficult to find a phone company or other such business that is up to obtaining it.

In teh UK each "exchange" serves an small area, for BT the company wo run the lines, to upgrade the exhange and enable broadband and the like. They need to make sure its prfitable.

They set up all this crap bout pre signing, but my area just passed the set number and ill get borad band by the end of the year :/

I use winamp for most everything, windows media player for watching movies alot of the time though as well.

I use divx for watching movies, winamp for listening to music and DJing, realone for some movies or for listening to the BTP Radio and i use bananas for eating.
