Yeah, tried it on all themes and even tried changing my boot screen back to default as well as the default theme for xp.
It still appears. I might do a yearly format soon...

I need to format, after I installed the MSG+ sponsor by mistake.
I tried using Ad-ware etc., but still leaves some stuff there.

Ok, i got some more RAM today (512mb), but the memory clip doesn't want to slot into the correct slot.
It says on it:
Edge Memory PC-133
PC133-322-620
Compliant Memory (PC-100 Compatible)
Any other information you smart ppl need to figure out my problem, ask.
An inkling deep down inside me is saying this will never fit int my computer, but I'll have to wait...
Edit: Nevermind. I'm going back to the store to find one with 1 notch in the side and not 2 so that it will fit...

Recently formatted one of my hard drives.
Before I had formatted it, I didn't get annoying pop-ups even when I'm not browsing web pages. They're the kind of pop-ups that look like this (Since being reconnected to the net, I've had more than 20 in around 30 minutes!):
Also I'm on XP Professional. Could someone tell me how to get the "My Network Places" to appear on my start menu?

You get that from windows messanger if u don't have a firewall. I used to get them but since i changed to normal msn i havent gotten them anymore.

It wasn't down to the lack of firewall since I had one installed and still do.
Anyway, wish sent me a useful link to solve the popup problem.

Well, for me, you do this:
Go to the Control Panel
Click on Network
In that Configuration window that appears, click add
Add a client that is applicable to you

sorry pope, I don't do drugs.
well anyway. Wacom is from what I've seen the best brand, but they're probably way too expesive. My mum has one of these things for the mac for work... We als ohad a JAM Studio thing, but the company has gone out of business (or something) and it doesn't work in XP, it was also pretty bad in terms of the amount of pressure you had to put on it. So in short, I don't know, really. lol.
