They renamed Firebird. It's called Firefox and is now in version 0.8. I could explain what's new, or I could copy the list from mozilla.org...
- Windows Installer
Firefox now comes with an installer for Windows. Aside from making
the installation process smoother, the installer also solves some
common plug-in problems.
- Download Manager
The new streamlined download manager keeps your downloads organized
without getting in your way. Select Tools >
Downloads or press Ctrl+E to see it
or change its behavior.
- New Add Bookmark Dialog
The Add Bookmark dialog has been enhanced and now allows the
creation of new bookmark folders.
- Work Offline
It's now possible to view Web pages you've previously visited without
being connected to the Internet.
- Better Handling of File Types
Binary files (e.g. .wma and .rar files) served by
servers incorrectly sending text/plain should no longer be displayed
as garbage in the browser, rather they should be appropriately
handled.
- New XPInstall Frontend
The dialog that appears when installing themes and extensions has
been redesigned and is easier to use.
- New default theme for MacOS X
The Pinstripe theme integrates better on MacOS X than the Qute
theme, used on Windows and Linux.
- Lots of bug fixes and improvements
Disabling of form auto-completion is now working, the address bar
now remembers the edited text across tab switching, among many
other bug fixes.

ooh, firefox is looking nice, thinking about changing from opera, cause opera's a bit too buggy. And well, I can get mouse gestures etc. in both of them, more customisable, too....

Indeed.
If you see something thats annoying you theres a 90% chance you can fix it manually in about:config
If you get Firefox, here are my 'requred' exentions:
Adblock (see an ad? not anymore. block whole uris with regexps)
Tabbrowser extentions (dont know why this isnt in the trunk :-\)
All-in-one Gestures (Gestures )
I also have
Live HTTP Headers (though it seems not to work with .
and Find In This Select Box (a godsend )

yeh, I have got it, and installed these extensions:
all-in-one gestures,
editCSS,
Web Developer,
Javascript Console Status,
Session Saver,
Scribe,
StumbleUpon Toolbar (disabled, though),
Firebird and Thunderbird Grippies,
Copy Image,
Clear HTTP Auth,
Chatzilla,
Pref Buttons,
JS Console,
TabBrowser Preferences,
and last, but not least, Blockfall (the pointless tetris clone).
Heh, alot of those plugins aren't needed, I just installed them cause they looked interesting, but I've got it acting a lot like opera using Session Saver and Tabbrowser preferences.
And I've installed Thunderbird, too.

The best place to look is the firefoc extension room But looking there, it seems there are none.
firefox does have ftp support , just not in the upward direction. lol.

lol, ok then. It'd be simpler for me to upload files when I want to host them for public use quicker, but alas, no such luck.

It's called IE. try it sometime.
A site that doesnt work in mozilla will lose my hits immediately, unless i really need to get in.

Erm... yes.
And by the way, FTP Upload support is apparently now in Mozilla 1.7, someone just needs to add UI for it in Firefox.
btw ReadMe, you might be interested in Popup Allow - from http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/
