It's called a glow, altho peronsally i prefer a corona filter since the glow isn't uniform, it's randomized to be slightly patchy.

hmm corona?.....i'm guessing your talking about PSP8 or something....there is no corona in PS7....lol
i would think corona would be more choppy that glow...(looking at the suns corona...)

corona is a filter in Alienskin 4000, xenofex also has some nice effects.

The 'glow' around the text in my sig is a corona, if you look closely you can see it's no as uniform as a glow.
