Um... there are some maps twice and some maps that suck hard. I'm sorry for my direct...ness(?).

Do you honestly expect him to sort out around 15000 maps? I certainly wouldn't go through them looking to see if there were any duplicates. You should be very grateful that he uploaded them. The maps are ones he has downloaded, they're not organised by how good they are. Again, I wouldn't want to sort through around 15000 maps ranking them in order and getting rid of crap ones.

Do a search for files that have the same file size and yer sorted.
[06.02.06 06:23 PM]
Erm... what if two have the same file size? Doh!
[06.02.06 06:52 PM]
Then you would check to see if it was the same map.

He's suggesting an automated search, methinks.

.bit files are small, like hell im gonna go thru 7000+ b&w maps with the same filesize...
[11.02.06 04:47 PM]
Is there a program that can quickly open them to view them or enable them to be viewed as thumbnailos in a folder or do I have to import them into a gfx prog or into worms to see them?
[11.02.06 05:09 PM]
you can try using bitmonkey to quickly access them... although for preview thumbnails i dunno
[12.02.06 04:17 AM]
Oh yeah - bit monkey - forgot about that
[12.02.06 04:12 PM]
yea an automated search-but it doesn't do any deletion.
[12.02.06 10:40 PM]
Hmm, I might consider sorting out all those and re-submitting them.
[22.02.06 07:50 AM]
