Alright man, only asked *pfff*
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
yays, ultra compact will be useable
and i'm glad to hear that btp is being greatly improved
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
Compact is Iinternet Explorer only. Who would want to use that?
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
fools.
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
It works in firefox as well
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
yay BTP will be new and improved!
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
i think that the idea of keeping the compact design will be that cbwhiz will make it cross browser compatable
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
will there be some sort of way to compress the menu on the left? I mean its a bit long and it would be a gd idea if they had sub menu's and such
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
well, the closest atm is:
http://www.blamethepixel.com/testmydesign.php
it's for the ultra compact design.
though, it would be better is it was onclick instead of onmouseover.
[01.01.70 12:18 AM]
non-broken demo page here: http://195.137.8.89/other/BTP/design.htm
(it's called ultra-ultra-compact)
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
oi! thats my local link!
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
that rules, NOW MAKE THE CONTENT SHOW UP :/
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
That design with mouseovers is so annoying =\
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
the mouseover design does my nut in, and the map design ( if thats the blue thing, the default ) IS HIDEOUS. i hope i dont get left wit it for long. Its dull dark and hard on the eyes.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
yes, it is terrible, ugh....
default should be ultra compact
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
I would like about a weeks notice so i can rap up any auctions!
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
you're not listening, th only things that will be deleted are PMs...
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
Yeah, you should let people redo some of their designs before releasing the site in all css.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
HELLO! IT AINT ALL CSS! IT IS HTML 4
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
shush, newb.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
erm, HTML 4 to standards is just as good as XHTML to standards, it's prolly better as we wont be serving as application/xml+xhtml we know what we're doing sarge
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
Serving as xml would be amusing, as Mozilla refuses to render badly formed xml.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
gg.

excactly. and xhtml is just the same as html except it looks the same in all browsers o.O
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
^^ oh, apart form IE
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
IE fucks up everything anyway.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
IE tends to fuck things up, whereas Mozilla makes it easier for you to fuck it up yourself.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
sargeTron, you are an idiot - stop making unfounded statements like that. XHTML does not look the same in all browsers, true XHTML will be accessible on any platform. This is not the same thing at all however.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
meh. beat my compliance skills and ill donate all my btp money 2 ya
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
ReadMe will win.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]

[01.01.70 12:19 AM]

[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
i'm too lazy to get rid of i, b, and to add the doctype, but check out the compliance at http://members.lycos.co.uk/cbwhiz
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
oh, except that there is auto-generated server ads.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
So will the rest of the designs be restored after all is done? I'm personally using Bloopy's Hell and hell bored of the ones like map and ultra compact.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
I will update my hell design to work with the new system.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]

hah, you havnt even got the XML declaration!
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
dude, his site is fully valid, shut up, you lose..
gg.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
i know about it being compliant, but there is more compliance and stuffs.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
foxhill bank does have the xml dec, which isnt actually neccessary - it also send the correct mime type and adjusts the xhtml doctype to match, the code is semantic and free from presentation as well as rather sleek.
You've yet to show us any examples of your work.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
^^ im wating for competition ^_^

[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
oops double comment
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
if you can show me something more compliant than http://www.foxhill-bank.co.uk made by you i might actually take you seriously, otherwise i, and pretty much anyone else whi reads this will consider you a total idiot.
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
> "anyone else whi reads this will consider you a total idiot."
Way ahead of you there...
[01.01.70 12:19 AM]
Oh, and I'd consider http://rdmsoft.com/ to be fairly good, for validity and semanticality (Warning: made-up word).
http://philby.rdmsoft.com/ is missing bits, and is due for a revamp.
Meh, ignore that, just look at ReadMe's site, it's prettier.
