I went to XE.com and was gonna convert your pounds over to USD ($$), but I dunno what kind of pounds you guys got. They got all kinds of pounds, egyptian pounds... a lot. Anyway, they got GBP, United Kingdom Pounds. Is that it?

1.00 GBP = 1.58 USD
1.00 USD = 0.63 GBP

$0.01 is a 'cent' to us, so $0.33 is 33 cents. what is it in GBP?

well so zogger, since your currency is so 'strong', is gum 1 pence (£0.01)?

(it's $0.03 here, or somewhere around that. I dunno, with damned inflation it's probably 5 [cents] by now.)

well, we have a shocking 17.5 tax, and a pack or 6 costs us 26p. - tax thats ooooh about 23p. for one thats about mmmm 3.8p

17.5%!?

ours keeps goin up... bastard tax. I think it's a 6.8 or 7% by now, not sure. when something's under 9 (maybe 8 now, i dunno) cents there's no tax (cuz of rounding), and a lot of time they just add in the tax when you buy a pack of gum for 20 or 25 cents so that's all you pay.
