dunno bout your flags and graves' previews... i imagine you're joking.
I've heard from several people that PhotoShop is better than PaintShopPro, and from none the other way around. You might try PS, it's nice... heh. I don't like the way it does lines though. I mean, with 'line tool', or whatever. makes a vector p.o.s... fuck that.
Is there a way to make it just apply the line in pixel format on the current layer? like an option or some shit?

I've never used PS but I have used PSP. Now I use Ulead Photo Impact, which in my opinion is better than PSP. When I wanna draw a line in PI I use the rectangle selction tool and fill, or to draw an angled line I use the lasso selection tool... so easy If you are used to using Paint, then PhotoImpact is probably a better step up than PS, since I hear PS is complicated.
I don't remember much about PSP but I did use it to make these maps: wu terrains ...PSP was prob not so bad to use.

Windows Desktop was just a take off of someone else's map, tho they did Win95. And Teletubbies Must Die was just an image copied and pasted. But oh well those were the days

The best 3 image editors imo are PSP, PS and Fireworks, fireworks is the best for web graphics, and PSP is about equal to PS, it's all just a matter of taste.

Fireworks for ever. And IMO Fireowrks is good not just for web pages but for general image editing too. It's for noobs in short.
