Sounds helpful. If someone leaves code indented by the wrong amount, it means they didn't understand when the code would be executed, or they put a bracket in the wrong place or something.

Though if your editor does auto-indentation, you'd see it straight away.

Did it at least inform you what line the error was on?

Yeah, you're right about that. I'm just bitchin' cause I miss my semi-colons. I prefer parse error over indentation error. But indentation error is usually quicker to fix.

While we were working on her assignment, I asked her to write a function (which would be about 160 lines), and send it to me. I have no idea what text editor she was using, but 80% of it was indentation error. I wish CodeBlocks could correct indentation.
