I know its not out in the UK yet, but i picked up a US import copy and this "freeloader" thing that lets you play any region on a PAL Wii.

What's Wario like? Is he fun/good enough to claw me away from using Pikachu all the time

They've made alot of the old characters weaker. Pikachu and Yoshi aren't as good this time. I still need to play around with the characters when I go to my friends place. Diddy Kong, Lucas and Nes are annoying characters to control.

i didnt play melee, so i cant really comment on that, but in comparison to the original, throws are much weaker and smash attacks seem a mite slower to perform on the whole.

havent really used wario at all, but pikachu is still pretty decent, as are many of the new characters.

I once played (and subsequently button mashed) Soul Calibur 2 on the GC in one night so much, that my hand right hand became bruised. Yeah.

I played Guitar Hero 2. On Expert. On Freebird. For a few hours. It hurt. So much that I need to fragment my sentences.

BlameTheJoy pad.. hmm good idea... but there are too many out of controll gamming websites out there these days. I say wait till there is a system where all users can play online.
PCs don't cut it, becuase all the bloody things are differnt and internet access is up to the indivdual user... wait till we got a billion satalites in the air and your game system can access the internet from your basement to a free active, reliable internet connection. =)
