Hey you guys! Yesterday i made this map. I took the map "City Shopper" by Shadey and edited it in MS Paint. I didn't do anything to the size or anything, I just made it a different color and added a few items of my own with normal paint brush. I saved it as a .PNG file.,
Now i sent it to my friend so we could play it cause he's the only one who can host. He gets this: "error! unable to open map file" or something similar.. What's the problem? TYVM!

Are you sure it has less than 112 colours?
Also, Which game? WWP can't use colour maps, if you're using it.

Assuming you're using WA, make sure you have the latest beta update. I think only the latest WA can load PNGs with more than 112 colours (and it will reduce it). If that doesn't work, save the map as BMP, put it in the Import folder instead, import it into WA and use WA to save it as PNG instead. Or use a program that isn't Paint to save a PNG with the right number of colours.
