hi all, i see this is a very big site and i hope someone can help me. i downloaded w.a. and in menu all is ok, but when i click on start mach, game begins to load and than i get some error, here is the error report...

do youve downloaded the latest patch/update from wa.team17.com?
i had weird errors with vista too. but updates and patches helped me.

if that wont help, rename the following files:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeMP4Splitter.ax AND
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeSplitter.ax
into ...Splitter.ax-EA

i had to uninstall my old nero 6 to play w:a. with 7 its working fine.

yes i installed patch 3.5 i think,ok ill try rename, thx man

i have version 3.6.28.0 and i renamed those files,but same problem again.

i redownloaded the game and patced it ,and it works perfect,error was probouably becouse i installed many patches. now i installed only 3.6.28.0 and its ok. anyway thanku for your help.

Undo what pacman said, rename those files back they have nothing to do with this

Yeah, problem prolly cause by installing patches wrong or whatever

If you have heard how Nero, espacially version 7 f*x up your windows, it's a good idea to try renaming them. My sis had problems playing Sims2, I called the customer service and they said i have to rename EXACTLY these two files...
but nice to hear it was only a problem called by patches etc... of course you can rename them back now.
