Hello, i bought wwp yesterday. I've lost pretty much every game and today i realized it hasn't been saving my settings, so it's stuck on intermediate. I've installed service pack 1, uninstalled, reinstalled the game.

The only settings it's not saving is the ones on the second line of the control panel (above the screen res and sound options).

If i do change any settings in the control panel, there isn't any tick appearing, not sure if there's supposed to be though, but i'm forced to click the cross, which then asks me if i want to exit without saving.

So, just wondering if anyone had this problem.

What mode are you playing?
I'm assuming you're just starting a single player game by selecting some opponents and a map?

In this case, the 'Intermediate' is referring to the scheme for the game you play, which defines the weapons you can use, create drops etc. You should set this every time depending on what you feel like. You might find the missions help you practice.

I haven't played WWP in a long time so I might be suffering from amnesia

Actually it generates a random map and players, but that doesn't matter. My point is, it won't save which weapons i choose, time delays etc.

I set all the settings i want and there should be a tick that appears. But there isn't so i'm forced to press the cross.

ah yeh... I remember that being annoying when I first got WWP. There is a way to save them but I can't remember exactly. For one thing you could use the scheme editor in the options menu, or you could use an external scheme editing program.

I had a look and realized it was a bug, probably never fixed.

Oh oh! All you have to do it type in a name for the theme.. So when you edit the settings it says [User Defined]. Click on that and enter something and click saaaaave.

Yeh so that didn't work. I think it's supposed to be intermediate for playing against the CPU. I found out, if you want your custom settings to work you have to go to multi player.. which is what someone said.
