A woman goes to a family member's wedding along with other family members and close friends. One of the family members' close friends she meets is a complete stranger to her, and she falls madly in love. When she gets home, she kills her sister. Why?

She's mad.
All people who kill probably are mad. But what was her reason for doing it?
Serial killer perhaps? Either that or her sister is the wife of the one she is in said love with.
Whether or not she is a serial killer is irrelevant. And nope, the one she fell in love with is not married or in love with anyone else.

Of course, her plan probably won't work if they figure out that she did it.

the woman is going to her sister's wedding. she's never met the groom before but he's a very close friend of one of the woman's other family members. the woman, after talking to the groom for a while falls madly in love with him. she later finds out that he was, in fact, the groom, and in a jealous rage she kills her sister so that she can have the man she fell in love with.
at least that's my guess. assuming I read everything right.
edit: alternatively, the woman has a twin sister and when she gets home she finds the man in bed with her sister. while the man wouldn't have known the difference, the sister did, so the woman kills her sister.

Alien King already solved it, but I guess we didn't make that clear. She killed her sister to cause the event of a funeral, where she could see the family friend she fell in love with again.
There is different versions of the story, but a number of the details like whether they are twins is irrelevant.

That was a pretty flimsy riddle. Then again, most riddles are pretty flimsy.

Flimsy how? As MC said, the idea of the riddle is that people who get the answer right are psychotic.
