That's probably because the option to submit a name with an entry wasn't available when you did.



I guess this is a trial and improvement thing. Originally the idea was to just let it grow long.

Perhaps a pruning system could be instated but for now, it's good just to see if people visit and keep coming back or not. If it does, a domain name will be in order.

Very neat idea, don't really see the point of this but nice one anyways.

Just a good list to show people likes and dislikes of.. well... stuff.

edit: Looks like it's getting cheated already. It might help to use POST instead of GET, and make it so that each POST sends a randomly generated token which can only be used once. Set a randomly generated cookie which can only be used once as well. By once, I mean only once per time any particular code happens to be randomly generated.

Of course, even with all that, it could still be cheated, but at least with POST it can't be cheated by say taking a link such as http://gfxjunkie.com/thelist/rateup.php?id=12 and pasting it into BabelFish or Google translate. In fact, just by posting this link on this page it can get voted on by search engines and other bots.
