I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

Explain how a mat heals itself and I will shower you with candy.

Another potential candy shower here if you can tell me why you need gloves to control a wiimote with.

All in all, some deliciously intriguing gifts you guys have.

I got:
A fantastic new yamaha acoustic guitar.
One capo for said guitar.
One stand for said guitar.
A small simple digital clock, powered by water (or tea, or coffee, or coke. Just nothing too viscous for obvious reasons.)
A super-dooper soldering kit, complete with hands-free soldering mirror...!
A make-it-yourself-you-lazy-bastard (DIY) burglar alarm (came from my brother. looks a lil tacky but nice all the same:)
A mass of chocolate and an uncountable number of books.

Phew.

Well it's not a literal term but it means the mat can't be cut up as easily and chunks come out of it when you've been cutting lots of things out of it.

Cut any trianglular shape on a piece of paper with a utility knife and it'll become loose or fall out but this mat doesn't do that. Then again, that just be down to it's thickness. I guess it doesn't disintegrate as easily because of the type of material and how highly it's compacted.

I need it because when I play Wii Sports, I always hit the home button when swinging the wiimote. the glove makes it so that I can't hit that button on accident. as an added bonus, it looks all spiffy.

I was quite surprised this year. I got presies instead of money which is unusual. Anyway I got:
- A Jack Daniels poster (about 2 foot tall) in a frame
- 2 double shots of Jack Daniels in 2 bottles
- A box with with 4 bottles of Bud and a Bud pint glass

(I seem like an alcoholic so far but who cares?!? :P)

- Chocolate (who doesn't get this at Christmas?)
- 2 games on Steam (payed by my dads credit card cause he didn't know what to get me)
- BO killer (a.k.a Spray, Aftershave, etc..)
- Family Guy Season 5 DVD set :D
- A bit of cash, which will help my purchase of the Wii next year. When the shops finally get them in stock.

-Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six: Vegas, for the 360
-A Wireless Headset, for the 360
-"Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album" by Reel Big Fish. Awesome album, only a tenner from Play.com, STEAL!
-"Pick Of Destiny" by Tenacious D. Nowhere near as great as the first album, but it's all right, just.
-A Reel Big Fish "Ghetto" T-Shirt.
-Quite a lot of money, bought myself Company Of Heroes. I usually hate RTSs, and World War Two games, but this is awesome. Plus, it came with Warhammer 40,000 for free!

All in all, quite an awesome christmas
