Well, its been just about 1 week since it's been out and lemme tell you, it KICKS ASS. In my opinion it is one of the greatest mods ever made. Considering that it's a real sandbox mod. Much better AI in this version, though some things are still missing, but have been set aside to be fixed in one of the updates.
Which brings me to my next point. Utilizing updates, gmod will stay constantly up to date unlike gmod9 where you had to get certain fixes.
Come on now people, 10$? You seriously can't spare it for one of the best mods ever? The scripted balls gotta be worth more than that
If you have it, let the others know of your experiences.

yeah, screw that, I'm not paying for a user-created mod no matter how good it is. sure, it looks fun, but charging for mods is just cheap and underhanded. screw that.

You people disgust me...
If garry wasn't getting money for this it wouldn't have happened. It's only ten dollars... If you're complaining about the price then you're the cheap one.
oh, and it's not just bouncy balls. It's possible to create any gamemode imaginable in this version of GMod (although there isn't really any documentation at the minute so I don't have a clue how). Barrel mania is fun.
If this isn't worth $10 then nothing is.

Best $10 I've ever spent!
As I, and many other Garry's Mod 10 players stated on Facepunch Studios forums. Seriously, if you have had the past Gmods and realize the openess of the game, then you would easilly spend the $10.
Updates to come for everything.. and the fact that you can practically play all of the source games within Gmod, what with all the SWEPS that come out.. its like 3 in one.
Speaking of which, someone over at FPS just released all DoD: S guns with ironsights 1 I cannot wait to get home and munch on that.
Spleet will have to get the "CS: S Enhanced scripted weapon pack" for it too has some guns with ironsights.
Garry's Mod 10 is the only TRUE sandbox mod in my opinion... unlimited possiblities

meh, it's nothing against gmod, but paying for a mod is just plain wrong.
besides, I never got into the game enough to be bothered. gmod is just something I fire up when extremely bored.

I have been without a fast working computer for about a year now. I never had the chance to buy half life. When I had the computer I was insanely uninterested in it and now that I dont have one I've read so much good stuff about it.
If you could send me a lovely £1000 brand new speedy computer I'd really appreciate it ta.

Aha! You don't need a £1000($1966.4) computer to run HL2... far from it I'd say. I have a $399 desktop with a new Motherboard which costs $49.99 and a $200 video card.. Totaling $650, nearly 1/3 the price of what you mentioned.
I can run every Source Engine game with settings maxed and I still get ~40-45FPS. All you need really is 512MB of RAM and a video card with support for Direct X 9.0+. to see all the effects... Thats it.
Hell, if it costs that much in the UK, then order all the parts online.

A laptop is a computer.
