Don't you think that's a tad harsh?
critique is better than none, how is one supposed to know what to do if he doesn't have an idea?

Well yeah, but no need to go overboard. Maybe "jumped the shark but hit the fin upon reaching the other side" would have been more appropriate. I mean, surely it's not that bad?
also evilweevil: do you ever shutup?
Didn't notice that until just now. Yeah, I have a "last word" complex as it were. Which, more often than not, comes out as a shitty spam-like substance. I'm going to try and work on it (seriously).

I second that query.
And please don't use "gay" as a negative word, it's insulting and homophobic. I've edited it to "Rubbish".

I was just at a tense mood at the time. Some loser can post two chicks dancing youtube (some of the time they won't be hot) and people post these comments, "LOL funny 11" and "hey i leiked that!".
On our Middle of Nowhere episodes, some of them are half assed a little, and people liked them, but when we involve better editing and the like, people don't like it, I don't get it. I mean, if you don't like it that's fine, but I did NOT expect to get replies like this for this video (this wasn't the only forum to see this video).
I thought this video would make you guys rofl. Guess I was wrong.

Right, uh - i'll try to be constructive i guess...
The whole "intro" was too long, didnt really go anywhere and felt very contrived and forced. It lacked timing, any sort of coherent group dynamic and was mostly devoid of humour.
The short itself seemed to be based around the premise that you found an "old fim" filter in whatever video editing program you use.
The plot summary: its 1902 and he's playing a computer game, his friend dances, goes outside, dances some more with another person, the end. There arent even any jokes added to this sequence, so where's the humour supposed to be?
Stylistically, the font was hard to read - the camera angles around the computer screen obstructed the view of anything that was going on, and the bit where you actually included the name of who was talking would not have been used in an old b&w film of the style you were attempting to emulate.
I sure hope there's some sort of inside joke with your friends in there - cos otherwise i doubt anyone will find much humour beyond the joke so well used that it's tyre treads are below the legal threshold (the random selling of an item when given the chance to speak)

That's where we *tryed* to be funny. I think we would know no computer games were in the 1900s? I don't see why the filter is such a big deal. The joke was supposed to be that we kept wasting time with these intro mess ups, then made the old film part as stupid as possible. But, oh well.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure we were trying to make it funny. I think we focused on being more stupid and illogical than funny.
