I'm sure you've all seen the goods and bads of the game, so I was wondering who all would be playing the game when it's released tomorrow.

wow, you must live under a rock. battlefield is one of the more popular FPS games out today. has a large fan base due to its original take on the genre (large levels where group work is the central idea rather than running around in a small area fragging everyone in sight).

despite the fact that everyone hates EA for being EA and little other reasons, the series is quite good and 2142 is an improvement upon the rest (granted, it's just a glorified expansion pack, but hey, it's worth the money. especially if you've never played any of them before)

you quote an article that negates the negative comments and flaming? I'm confused.

the stuff in the game has already been confirmed to only track what billboards you're seeing in the game. it doesn't associate with anything outside of the game at all. I'm not condoning the ads, but going on a witch hunt for some harmless files doesn't serve much purpose.

The thing that people are bitching about on those in-game billboards is stupid. I've already heard about this a year ago and they didn't expect it. This is why these ads are in video games, because people don't check the current events outside the box.
