Sorry for bringing up this old thread.
As you may or may not have heard, I have created a new
CutWormLE program. This again raises the question if BTP will support SeekerBit/SuperBit maps.
CutWormLE is a much cleaner, and better designed program than its predecessor. I have already recieved much positive feedback regarding the program and have not yet heard of any bug reports. Its popularity is growing on WormNet2, and I expect this to continue to grow as more people learn about it. I've already had a few people ask me if WMDB or BTP will support the map format. I'll leave the decision up to you.
Bloopy: Yes, there is another way to differentiate SeekerBits, SuperBits, and regular *.bits from each other. The beginning of all SeekerBit files has a tag (LND + 1C [Long value 474238540]). The beginning of all SuperBit files has a tag (LND + 1B [Long value 457461324]).
