I have created a screen saver which launches W:A replays. There's a number of configuration options. For example, it can play games randomly from your \Games\ folder, or you could specify a different folder of replays and play them in sequence. The configuration is saved to an .xml file in the same directory as the screen saver.
Download. Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and preferably a version of W:A that can play replays.
Please post any problems or suggestions you have!

That was quick D:
nicely done!
Some roaches: exiting the screen saver useing keys specified (space, left mouse click, etc.) dont work sometimes
Another: the screensaver randomly quits (dunno why)

I found that the Escape key is a bit unresponsive on my work laptop, so I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is.

Haven't seen that happen yet. Does it happen after a replay finishes, when the next replay is supposed to start? Or does it happen in the middle of a replay?

And you didn't just hit a key by mistake or move the mouse.
When you say it requires farmework 1.1, doesnt everyone who has windows XP have that?
And also, how do i get it to work?

No, not everyone who has WindowsXP has the .NET Framework. But, anybody who got XP within the last year or two or who has XP service patch 2 probably does have it.
If you're on WinXP and you put the .scr file in your \Windows\system32\ folder then it will show up as an option in your display settings. If you put it somewhere else and right click it and choose 'Install', then it will set it as your screen saver, but it won't be available in the options if you change your screen saver to something else.

This is nice. Now I can sit at my desk and do homework whilst listening to the quaint, enjoyable sounds of ropes and zooks and such. Also, the "ESC" route used to close the scrnsvr is kinda slow, as it it takes a while to get back to the desktop, but I don't mind it.

It depends on your computer... if it takes a while to close W:A then you've got to accept that. I'll see whether I can do anything about that though.

Yes, well, I get that, but my computer is not slow at all, and it still takes a bit.

Do you need to have your CD in your PC to see the replay?
