Ok I was wondering why so many Forums say that port 6677 has to be forwarde ??? THIS IS WRONG

Following ports must be forwarded:

6667 TCP
17010 TCP
17011 TCP
17012 TCP

THen go into the registry (Start->Run->(enter regedit)press ok

Then HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Team17LTD...
->WormsWorldParty->Netsettings

Double click Adressoverride and enter 1 (hex) press ok

Now double click Localadress and enter the External IP of your Router (
www.whatismyip.com <-this number )press ok

Make sure your Windowsfirewall accepts WWP (best switch it off)

I dont think 6667 needs to forwarded. What forums said 6677 needed to be forwarded? thats just silleh...

If you're problems are that u don't know how to Forward Ports
then go to www.portforward.com There you choose your Router from the list and follow the instructions for Worms Armageddon THIS WORKS I've used it to help at least ten people

I think that this thread should be either locked or deleted. There is already a thread that explains all of this in more detail.

Actually the only ports you need opened are 17011 for both the TCP and UDP protocol.

6677/6667 is the port used for the IRC chat in wormnet2/1. You just need to be able to connect to the server. You don't need them opened because you are not having people connect to your computer through those ports.
