Hey guys, Mablak, Mini, Wyvern, Algo and I have been working on a worms MMORPG for the last few months!
So I thought coming where the wormers are to get some cool wormy-elements ideas would be good!
So to start with let me show what we got so far:

I also see that you guys are recruting programmers, I would apply if I had a little more free time hehe, maybe some time later when I do have some!

Hoh, coincidentally stumbled across this topic and considered it a worthy opportunity to make my first posting here, after having this account for, hum, a year? x)

Anyway, the project has been running for a while now and it's in a good stage - meaning that we've worked on it long enough that it's safe to definitely say it won't be cancelled and it's more than just a little attempt. =]

I'll also abuse this occasion to show off the music I've made for this so far (sorry, I'm just always hungry for input ;>), so here ya go:

Well the worms in-game had to be relativly small, like there are 6 races you can pick from, but the actual avatars are nicer and bigger

Whats alpha/pre-alpha? (not transparency, account thingies i mean)

Alpha is the whole game done without the "smokes and mirrors".
Beta is the whole game 100% done accordingly to the developpers.
Final is the beta after testing.

So Pre-Alpha (right now) is the game during its developement, pretty much new features added everyday, some bugs here and there etc.

The pre-alpha is the most restricted version, not many people have access to it.
The Alpha version will be for testers only.
The Beta version will be "almost" public, like people will have invites and can invite people to play and report bugs aswell.
And obviously the final version will be public.
But in the mean time, everyone is welcome to register on our forums at http://www.laene.nl/Marc/forum/index.php the public forums are pretty dead obviously, we mostly use the private forums right now, but it'd be nice to have some activity on the public forum aswell

Looks like you guys have put alot of work into this, great job.

As Pio said, sign me up for a beta/alpha/whatever!
