A few years ago I just stopped playing worms 2D. I couldnt be bothered anymore and uninstalled it completly.

Today, howver, I was ill, bored and needed something to do. Like Newton's apple, I bashed my arm on the shelf with all my computer games on, making Halo and worms armageddon fall off a pile of DVDs and onto the floor.

I reinstalled the game and updated it with every patch possible. The colour was fucked, so I twiddled with the colour and the screen until it worked.

And it was just how i remembered it. I think I have officially got back into it and entered the "files" page in god knows how long to download a couple of maps and some programs.

I urge everyone whos given up on it to just reinstall it and give it another chance. And if you want a game with me, just say the word...

I allways have periods where I just stop playing this game...like most games. I think my spreee of playing css is the longest i've stuck with a game tho..

I've allways had it installed, and I still have the same folder I had years ago (aside from patched files).

I played it last night with pio and spaz, good fun . But now really isn't a good time for me to start gaming really, with exams 'n' all.

also, the graphics in wa is what makes wa...it doesn't really look that bad tbh. The idea is that it IS 2d, cartoony and simplstic. What does look bad is horribly low res textures on a very high res screen

oh and my keyboard is pretty bad for worms tbh. Microsoft ftl. Anyone got any suggestions? I might get Razer's Tarantula which hasn't been released yet. it'll match my Copperhead

Im sure someone here could nudge in the direction of the ultimate programer's keyboard with specially weighted keys and NO SYMBOLS?!

iam only able to join the Lobby but when
i try to join a game the attempt just timed
out.

Maybe it's time to fix my Router's rom....

i just started playing this game again after 4 months of doing other things it is a good game as always

I still love the game. Vent just makes it even better

Two things Ive notice:
The game takes minutes load. Its very annoying and I don't know why.
It dosnt feel all too well. Not sure how I else I can explain it. I think thats possibly to do with the beta updates i installed.

Minutes to load? Er...update your graphics drivers? Update to directx 9.0c...

It takes seconds to load for me.

I have several theories. Its either to do with directx, the CD itself, or the fact that im running it on a laptop.

star>>run>>dxdiag>>click "ok" if needed>>display tab>>run tests

that should help you see if it is directx

probably is the CD. I could send you a CD image of wa, if needed.
