Ok, when I was playing on the wnet years ago.. I remember something interesting but I can't quite remember what its "Official Name" was... It was the "God" name for the Concrete Donkey (Light Siders) and then there was a Giraffe (Dark Siders). My question is what the names were.. and if anyone might have any information about the history of such wormy "gods". There was a post about it in the Team 17 forums, but that was YEARS ago... If anyone could enlighten me.. please post here or PM me. :þ

I dont think the concrete donkey ever had a God name. But Im sure you knew that it was inspired by the concrete statue of a donkey the creator-of-worms dude found in his garden and used to think a real donkey was trapped inside.

The other animal is the angular wooden giraffe. God to, possibly, the greysiders? I dont even know if its an official wormopedia entry or just fan made. But how i wish that the angular wooden giraffe and buffalo of lies were implemented into the worms games. I even used to think up how they could be used.

for the past few years I've been a bit of a worms religion buff, and I've never heard anything about "god names" mentioned for any of the gods of the various sides. I know quite a bit of other info about them, but I've never heard any other names for them mentioned.

On Team17 forums, a thread about worms religions used to pop up once a month, resulting in massive wars between forumers for who's definition of the worms religions are right.

Anyway, here's how it goes:

The Donkey is the "god" of the Lightsiders.

The Buffalo of Lies is the symbol of the Darksiders.

Finally, Brightsiders have no god/symbol/whatever.

The greyside isn't an official worms religion, so it's god is irrelevant. (that's the conclusion the forum "wars" come to eventually)

Your last comment is interesting. I'm almost certain that the angular wooden giraffe exists as being official i.e. a wormopedia entry. So if the greyside IS user made, then what is the angular wooden giraffe for?

I'm sure there are much more "sides" than that..I just remember rading aload of them on some worms3d unlockables. Brainside is one that I remember.

Lightsiders are worms that remain out and about. Wipping granades and bazooking. Darksiders prefer, well, the dark, tunneling, Weapons such as the blowtorch, the drill, and a defensivly placed girder are favored.

Apart from bigside and smallside, the rest were either usermade or official. Mirkyside was someones very poor joke. Suiside is because of some n00bs who just liked to have fun blowing every worm on the land up. I suppose it can be used for people who use the official suicide attacks as well. Noside is another ironic joke, though i think it went by a better name. Allside because most people were and because most people didnt want to be on the greyside. More explanation? Yes, but onlhy if you ask.

I'm quite aware of what them sides are, i'm asking what the brightside is. Iirc, it's someone who easily adapts either the lightside or darkside, depending on the situation. They don't nessesarily start the game and teleport to enclosed areas or tunnel into the ground, but perhaps vary what each worm does.

not entirely sure where you got THAT conclusion from, but almost ALWAYS the greyside is in fact considered a side and the god of such side is known to be the AWG. I've only once seen a side discussion discount the greyside as unofficial, so I have no idea where you got that absurd conclusion.

As far as I know, the side with no God is the brightside.

I know how the donkey was thought of and why and such.. i mean what is the name of it other than the Concrete Donkey.. its something like Besong Ansa or something like that... *sighs* i never gonna find out what its called and your right AWG is greysiders now that i remember and it is official.. if you look at the original image Half of the face of the AWG is lighter than the other side... hence a dark and light side = greyside

No back in the day there was an iterview with the person that designe the concrete donkey and it was on T17 interviews.. however that thread and board is no longer there since they have changed it since then... but that isnt he person i am talking about this has been around since like 1999..... and i doubt that that person has been around that long...
