Main reason I switched from opera was because it was crashing all the time when I used to use it. That was a couple of major versions ago though so it's probably not a problem anymore. It was difficult to make btp look nice in it as well, might also be better. I did like the feature that zooms the whole page.. while colorzilla (I think) can do that it doesn't scale absolute positions so it comes out wierd.
iirc ReloadEvery reloads a single page every x seconds, doesn't reload every tab .
Anyway,
I've got 5 extensions installed for firefox, starts up in a few seconds and rarely crashes. It used to when I had more extensions, alot of them were left over from older fversions and I think they had some conflicts going on, so I made myself a new profile and it works fine.
But yeh it does take up a bit much memory at times, particularly if you leave it open for a week as I tend to do.
HarrY, I don't think you have any reason to fear FireFTP, you can see the source code to every extension by looking in the xpi, people would say something if it was sending your login details to random addresses.

True.

Then skate should have corrected me, as it's an extention he uses, but he no doubt doesn't.

You leave firefox open over a week? You leave your computer on over a week? Or hibernate?
I'd only leave firefox open for about a day downloading a file, if I was downloading a file that took a week to download i'd use a download manager.
I need to close it anyway-need the memory for gaming.

I didn't know that, but still I couldn't do that myself as I know bugger all generally when it comes to coding. I'm (somewhat) happy with smartFTP. Shame they changed the GUI.

Albeit, its the slowest program to start up ever, but you didnt mentiont that.
Are you saying Firefox is the slowest program to start up ever? What planet are you on?
It's actually displaying BTP properly.
Did you try it with all the designs or just one?

There's an option to reload every tab every x seconds with ReloadEvery however.

Yes, C1. We've established that. It's even mentioned in the very post you quoted.
And skate you should have checked tab mix plsu out, I did state what I thought reloadevery did.
StarWorms: You can get mice where the scrollwheel tilts, allowing you to use the horazontal bar in that fashon.

No it says " doesn't reload every tab" but it can.

I might still stick to FireFox and yes I have all the updates, obviously. I know there's faster but Mozilla doesn't go that slow for me and I have 0 extensions.
Edit: Oh, is this me? Or does Opera 9.0b not change image sizes corresponding to your browser size in minimum form.

I kinda doubt whether that is Opera's fault.

I'll put it in perspective for you. On my computer, it takes 14 seconds for firefox to start up without any other programs running. It takes flash MX 4 seconds.
I just tried Opera. It IS fantastic and i now have a horrible dilemma...hwhich do I use as a default???

After the first load, when I startup, Firefox loads in half a second for me. Then again, I have no extensions or toolbars installed.
