I don't really know how much of a beginner I really am, but this is the first website that I really put some thought into. The others were just scripted messes from bits and pieces I learned from page sources. I want to know what you guys think and see what I can possibly improve upon.

Not bashed, at least I dont think.. But there has to be room for improvement, there always is.. I'll bet if HarrY reads this thread he'll point out some things for improvement.

Once you get past the rather cheap (and pointless) introduction page, the design isn't that bad, although the banner is way too wide and creates a horizontal scroll bar.

There is little contrast between the text colour in the menu and the background colour of that side bit.

All Times New Roman should die.

It's a very good start, but the intro page is a bit pointless.

There isn't much more to say after what Pope said. Just needs more contrast between things.

2 things:
1)Where is this Times New Roman you speak of?
2)The "pointless" intro page is there because Google will not let you delete the default homepage, and the default home page has to be made using one of there color templates. So until they have a completely plain page template for only html purposes, it will have to stay. :/

The only Times i see is for the

Looks great in my opinion, I like the black colour-scheme. Though as time goes on you should add more designs, like BTP.

Nice start. I think the menu and body needs to be separated by a black/dark border tho.

No, i do not have a mullet. It was very long, and hippy-ish, but now its all shorter. But the back is a tad longer than the front. Besides, i couln't pull of the 1337ness of having a mullet,
