I recently installed a new version of Winamp (5.21) and now everytime I start an online game worms world party crashes IF WINAMP IS PLAYING meanwhile.
unfortunately i cant remember which version of winamp i had before, i installed 5.2 but it is the same problem. i can still hear the sounds of the game, i can move my worms (cause i hear them jumping etc..) but i cant see anything. no goddamn picture

has anybody experienced something like that?

any suggestions what i could do to solve this problem? (and its a huge problem to me, i want to listen to my music while I´m playing

Hmm, this is indeed a rather odd problem. I totally understand about listening to music whilst playing .

Perhaps you could try starting the game, then minimise by clicking at the very bottom of the screen main menu (This happens, right?) then start up winamp.

I don't use winamp or wwp myself so I can't really test it out...

and what 90% of other BTP users will say is "Go get WA". Which you should do. Go get wa! NOW!

I don't think you can do that in WWP. It might have been in one of the W:A patches.

Theres nothing you can do, except maybe get an older version of winamp at http://www.oldversion.com

and the only way to make wwp minimize is at the very front part of the game (with the 4 options and the exit button)

edit: oh and uh, get w:a, wwp blows and its a desert on wormnet

really? there are less people playin wwp than wa?
i ve never played w-a online, but i have it. maybe i should really install it.

yeah, last i saw wwp only had like, 2 people
W:A has up to 30+ during the day
plus its supported with lots of new features with the recent patches
you'll wonder why you even have wwp

Exactly. Listening to your own music that you know you enjoy can improve your gaming performance. Unless you have a really crap pc...

i concur, sometimes if you play w:a long enough the music gets better

old wa is the wa that you most likely know. The new wa is the wa you have after installing the patch then the update.

You really, [b]really[/b] should install the patch and update, especially if you're running on XP.

Also, you must install the patch [b]first[/b] then the update. you can find them at http://worms.team17.com

There are schemes back before the old patches, schemes had wild settings where now with the new W:A updates ("new wa"), the schemes would usually crash the game cause the codes changed and whatnot
