Here's a game that looks pretty impressive:

They mainly seem to be working on the engine at the moment, but it seems to be a pretty impressive engine. Check out the tech page and the downloads page for videos.

They're calling it the first epic fantasy FPS but I'd say it's more of an FPRPG, morrowind style... but then they couldn't really say it's the first epic fantasy FPRPG, because there have been quite a lot of those. It looks pretty impressive nonetheless. It's probably a very long way from release though, so try not to get too excited.

I'm not a big fan of Fantsy type... stuff. But I must say I am impressed with this.

I see what you mean about the release not being quite yet. Something like this could take a while
