why can't we sue people? if you go on to the ratings page, you'd find out who and why I'd want to sue. you could also go to the shout add or add word page. now, see what I mean. either rate ppl down twice or sue them!

If you have a rating of 15 or more(I think it's 15) you can rate people down by 2 points. The ability to sue people seems really stupid because we'd need to have a non biased jury and judge, which probably wont happen. Plus people probably wont be bothered to do those jobs. Sueing seems like a pathcetic way of getting revenge.

PS: explain why you want to sue here, I can't be bothered to go to those pages and I don't think it would be that rewarding if I did.

Let me tell you why that I voted neither. Because both options are immature.

Rating twice would be just plain useless, just because. Sueing would involve laywers, a judge and an audience. Who wants those?

I doubt the admins, (who I am guess you want to decide whether the rate down is legit) would have the time or would seriously care enough to go over a reason for rating down, especially when people like Icepacks, Cheetar and insantitoon go on their rate-down-fest. Do you not reallise that whenever someone got rated down (well probably not social users) they would just use this "sue" option, because so what if the rate is retracted or not. (Sorry, just realised I am going over HarrY's point)

Rates are something that you can express your opinion on a user, or something that a user is doing, if you like it, rate it up, if you don't, rate down. Using a sue system would defeat the purpose of it, because it would be the opinion of the admins, not the rating user.

The sue thing sue option, while it may work 1% of the time, 99% of the time, it's just going to be hassle and another way for noobs to complain.

Rateings are there for others to see if you have a good/average/okay/hey im new/IM A FUCKING IDIOT/spammer kind of reputation. If you have a low rating, THERES A REASON WHY.
