Hi. I am a new wormer, and have been rope nudging in other peoples shoppa games. When i downloaded my own scheme and map, i tried a game, and couldnt seem to rope nudge on it. Which option enables rope nudging? Thanks

Rope Knocking, as its known, and its called SHOPPER! (uhg, i hate it how everyone comes to see it as the gaywad-word shoppa)
Offline rope-knocking doesnt work
It only works online (for some reason)
Hopefully the next patches will enable a button for it

Sorry for calling it shoppa (i have only just installed the game again, after 1 year of not playing it) and they all call it shoppa online. Anyway, thanks for the tip.

Shoppa and shopper are the same way of calling the same mode pio

They are just sinonyms

No, freaking, derr
Shopper was the ORIGINAL word, but some jamaican retard somehow got people to start calling it shoppa, which in terms, identifies you as a roping newbie (and i know)

Thats what I said pio, that, even if it was first known at shopper, calling it "shoppa" has became so popular that shopper and shoppa are sinonyms(In fact I always called it shoppa, I didnt know it was also known at shopper until I came here)

That sounds lame
But shoppa is just a shorthand for shopper, and shorthands are popular in WN and WN2, thats the reason why the people call it shoppa, and thats the reason why they are sinonyms
pio edit: Synonyms!

Arc, the whole point of this conversation is that only n00bs call it "Shoppa".
The real name for it is "Shopper"

Thx 4 posting that AB. Now I can tlk in s/h all the time. Sry if ne1 doesnt like this, you can blame AB 4 it if u wish. lol, w/e, I dnt care nemore.
A shorthanding person is the devil's workshop...

No, I'm not going to start typing that, I'm just poking fun at the argument that shorthand is the best thing since sliced bread.
Coincidentally, AB, if everyone decided to jump off a cliff, would you follow them right off the edge?

It's rather funny to see that this thread has become completely consumed by the subject of "er" being replaced by "a".
Saying "Shoppa" rather than "Shopper" doesn't make you a noob, and it doesn't make you sound that noobish either. Gah, I know tones of great ropers on WN2, and they all use Shoppa, just like almost everyone else. And there's nothing wrong with a bit of shorthand, just don't abuse it, as Glenn so delicatly demonstrated.

Perhaps, but it doesnt take long to become 'a great roper', as they HAD to have only learned of the game as 'shoppa'. WN2 came after WN1 and Worms 2's wormnet...
edit: besides, i've only seen WWP's wormnet people say shoppa, which annoys the f|_|< king crap out of me
