It won't get past the loading screen. It just freezes and crashes before while the last loading screen comes up. I haven't even seen the main menu yet..

im with runt but the demo has connection issues(it seems to disconnect people quite often) other than that i rate it a 9 as well =)

Yeah, being a demo it will still have bugs in it.
Hopefully the full game will be better and less bugs

yeah. I can't see myself buying though. I've been banned from my dads computer and it's the only computer that can play games.

it sucks that W4 came out in europe June, 30 and it wont come out to the US till Sept, 27 it better have extra features europe will never have =)

Nah I think both versions will have the same features =)

W4 came out Aug 5th in europe. the brits are just now getting their hands on it.

and about the internet, the connection problems are because of ports on your computer not being open. the online play works perfectly, buf if those ports are open, gamespy has problems with the game and you get disconnected (in the full version, there's a little warning telling you about the port problems).

also, the demo you're playing is 4 updates behind the full game.

no ive opened all 9 ports that W4 uses. it still disconnects maybe from the people that dont.

right, but it's still a port problem :p I just worded my statement wrong :p

if everyone on wormnet would listen to the big pop-up, it wouldn't be a problem, but no one does, so we'll have to wait for a patch to play online (of course, the demo has no such pop-up, but the demo's not very important)

Looks like Team17 follows the old traditions, despite having a decent publisher this time

hey, the game works perfectly, it even works great online, people just don't pay attention to the big sign saying "OPEN YOUR PORTS!"

other than that, the game is great and is almost perfect (it has its flaws, but it's still a great game)
