actually.. that's the only puzzle I can think of that really uses them... There might be a couple more, but there's more that don't than do, iirc

there the trolley you have to weight down for the hovercraft jump, and nother beam thingy. They are also a possible solution to zombies =p

you don't use bricks for either of the hovercraft jumps you have to set up yourself
