Has anyone made any custom stuff for a game (Excluding worms, because we've all tried making stuff for that)?
I made my frist map for Halflife2/Gmod called GM_Plinko. It's based on the plinko wall from "The Price is Right". Just drop a rag doll down the shoot and watch it tumble to the bottom. You can download it here.

I've made some cool maps that are now lost due to formats and virus infections on another computer for Mechwarrior: Vengence, Blackknight expansion, and for Mercinaries editions

I made tons of maps for worms, & I made schemes for worms. I also made a super awesome game for Starcraft that was a maze with multiplying enemies on the way, power ups, teleportations, alternate roots, etc. It was a cool game. Unfortunately, it got erased from BTP when CB erased the files and it got erased from my computer when my computer got fried.

What parts of "BTP file crash" and "Hard Drive went to hell" do you not understand?
As for me, I've made some roller coasters for RCT1, but I never submitted them to anything. Also, I'm toying with the idea of making a Worms fangame so to speak (I've been unsuccessful with reviving Wascar (mostly because I can't be bothere to host), so I'll make a game instead). Also, I've made one stepfile (Time and Time Again) and one announcer pack (WORMS THEMED ) for Stepmania.

umm, that map C1 just explained is probably only around 400KB(unless it has music)
Its not an alone game.. there are maps such as Lurker defence..
Padoroths RPG..
Bounds(obstacles)...
they are just maps with triggers,
("player1" brings"exactly""1" "terran marine" to "powerup1"
"Set "Health" to "100%")
triggers are simple, the map size wont be huge unless it has like 400 sounds, then it'd be a few Meggors..(really,really bad for an sc map)
the map just includes units already in the built game.. no custom stuff.. small map size :p
-note-due to the friggen sleepiness, I may have repeated some poop.

Mrrll, C1 doesn't have that map anymore, anywhere. His PC died and the copy on BTP got deleted.

I can't put Maps & Mods. Maybe we should have a checkbox poll option...
I used to make the best starcraft maps. Period. I knew triggers like a fat kid knows where to find cake. This may seem like bragging, but it isn't.
Here's some highlights:
-A Random number generator binary trigger list. You know how starcraft only used booleans (switches - set or cleare d)? I made it a functioning integer generator through the use of many switches.
-Archon Tag -Hard CPU 1.5-
Yeah, it's archon tag. No, it really is hard. Whats impressive? 40+ AI-like triggers. Thats right, I wrote my own Archon AI. YOu know how in other maps the archons run back and forth in front of walls it could easily destroy? Not in this map. You know how when a probe is near it and a nexus is too it'll kill the nexus instead of the probe? Not in this map. YOu know how the archons simply don't care where the probe does, and instead want to cause general mayhem? Not in this map. These bastards randomly select a player who they want DEAD. And then they stalk them for a maximum of 5 minutes. When I say stalk, I mean stalk. However, to make them see fair, if they see another probe they'll instead stalk that one! And, they can even 'see' when you're about to rescue someone they caught already, and chase after the rescuer!
-Deadship ][
I once saw a neat map named Deadship, which was unique in that it required teamwork. And I mean REAL teamwork, or, quite simply, the group of survivers might not survive too long. It was a horribly design though, and had many bugs. So I created a new one, with better triggers and more in-game options. Now, the players could choose which survivor they wanted to be - ie marine, or ghost, or tank, etc.
-Race to the beacon

Yeah, the AI in Starcraft can be somewhat buggy at times. You can, in the very early stages of a game vs. a computer, send a probe/ SCV/ drone up to the enemy base, attack it once, and immediately all the workers will start chasing your attacker for as long as you can keep them away

Excluding the WTF scheme for Worms. I attempted to make custom weapons for UT2k4, I was very bad at it. I only made the "Concussion Rifle" which was part of a tutorial. And the Ãœber Gooper (Bio Rifle with more goo globs) which was quite fun to have.
Edit: Oh yeah, and 3 maps for Unreal2k4 as well..

Oh, CB, you may now how to do this. How do you make the nexus closer to the minerals when you make maps? I see the fastest possible maps have the nexus like right beside it. But if you make the map, it doesn't work.

C1, nowadays use $goologo $m[1].
in the olden days we used mpqdraft, and even older, scm toolkit. i have also used my own creation, chkviewer.

I've made:
Skate parks for TH Pro Skater 3 and TH Underground 2.
The odd crappy race track for Monster Truck Madness.
Rollercoasters in Rollercoaster Tycoon.
A map of NZ and a Bloopy character for Locomotion.
That's about all I can think of for now.

I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
