Well, since EVERYONE needs to see those little gems of the internet that we all manage to run across, this thread has been created. Here are a few that I've been told about:

http://www.calltheinternet.org/
It does just what it says on the tin. You can call 'the internet,' or rather, a representative of the internet. This representative will do just about anything for you, from answering your questions about the internet, to giving a description of some random webpage you ask of it. Yes, it does work, it was demonstrated on Attack of the Show. WARNING: Do NOT call the number if you aren't willing to pay long distance charges.

This is a handy little exntention that allows you to use DHTML scripts in Firefox. It's also neccessary for the next item on the list.

Okay, Adblock gets rid of adds, and there's also extentions that exist to delete other objects. However, the former is logically bugged since it doesn't reform the page to reflect the removal of the add, and the latter doesn't stay done. This is where this thing comes in. It allows you to make a custom script that will get rid of objects such as ads and tables, and keep them gone. It's also fairly idiot proof as well. Read the how to use Platypus guide linked to on the page, it'll tell you everything you need to know.

I also had found a site that showed off a computer case made entirely out of cooling fans. However, I lost the link. If anyone can find it (or can be bothered to find it), please do so.

First off, it only does it on your copy of Firefox, though you can upload the script and give it to other people. Second, if you're going out of your way to make sure the ad doesn't come up, were you going to click it anyway?
