Hello friends and well-wishers
I have returned to this humble little world of worms.
Within the next week, I will be playing W:A and be making maps once again, and great LOOKING maps I may add...
Lets hope I get around to it "this time".
Oh, and I got a brand new lap top which has a whide screen PERFECT for rope type games on worms.
PS:
I need to download a copy of W:A I can play over the internet, seeing as how I did buy the original copy, I am intitled to another copy.
Anyone got a good website where I can download a good workable version of W:A that can accept patches as well.
I had a link to a good one, DLZZ or something along thoes lines.... but my other computer got fried when my brother attempted to install a new hard drive. So... I am at a loss right now... While I painfully search the web for a site, mabey someone can speed up the proccess for me.

Welcome back .
Coincidentally, it might be much easier to just buy a new disk for about $10 from the Team17 online store. Finding a W:A that will accept patches is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, it isn't exactly going to happen.
Unless someone here would like to offer you a virtual CD...

All I need is working copy o W:A....
I seached all day today...
most of the stores told me that the game is discontinued.....
I had a sweet link for downloading the game before but.... as mentioned above... it is lost.... and I gotta download thingy so I can resume files... so a 700 meg file for my dail up should be no problem.

Well, of course you're never going to find it. The only places you can find it are:
1) Game stores in Europe.
2) The Team17 online store.
3) Pirated copies.
The first one's obtainability is doubtful. The third one is in no means reliable, so I wouldn't suggest it, as you might end up with a crap file, which is a big waste for 56k. I would suggest going with option two, the Team17 online store. It's only $10 for a new disk, and it's most likely going to be more reliabe/faster than downloading it.
If we all had the same .iso of the game, we could probably torrent it...

Well, once again DJ... I can help you... If it wasn't for me? Worm Warrior and GIG would never see the precious lights from the W:A screens. And believe me, they can play online perfectly.

I torrented it a long, long time ago on SuprNova when it was still up.
I seeded for a day and then left. Over 5 months later, there was still 5 seeders and about 20 leechers.
Its a suprisingly popular game, even now.
I don't know where my physical CD is, nor indeed where most of my physical CDs are. I run *everything* from virtual CDs.
I suppose I could torrent it somewhere if someone knew of a good free tracker, that is searchable, and probably won't die in a few days.

I used to use Virtual CD, everything went perfect then all hell broke loose. Everytime I would emulate worms on my E: (fake drive) it would erase itself by cutting my game off and acting as if no virtual cd is inserted. And since I'm so calm and never get mad at anything. I decided to scream some colorful words at my monitor and my arm would twitch as if I add a strange disorder. Although the program did give me rct3.
